Parameters of testing
Tested programs: lsme v0.2b, Xing, LAME Explorer v1.3, Arial Audio Converter v2.3.0, CD_ex v1.50, AudioCrabber v1.60, Lame.exe v3.96, RazorLame v1.1.5.1342, Advanced MP3 Converter v2.20System configuration: Celeron 633Mhz (overclocked to 760Mhz), SDRAM 128MB, HDD IBM Deskstar 80G (writes to the same directory on the same partition), Windows XP Professional (for Xing - Windows 98)
Test file: PCM WAV 44100x16x2, 81'689'708 bytes (for Advanced MP3 Converter, because of shareware licanse file cut to first 31'756'084 bytes)
Adjustments: 128Kb/s Normal(Medium) Quality, Stereo.
Test resutls
The results are shown in the table:
During tests, LS Mp3 Encoder has shown the best result of 38 seconds and 2.149 Mb per sec of coding speed.
accuracy of results of testing - 0.6 %-2.5 % (depending on the test; tester errors, at the beginning and end of the test)
